Blood Moon Rises
Tonight was a blood bath with the Vamps.

The Fleshies were plain terrifying as they tore the thralls apart. Mangling a couple bodies but at least there was enough of one left for Ducky the Necromancer to raise as part of the Meat Shield. They even took down a Vamp but those clever dead are a lot harder to kill, lucky for the Madam, her coven mate was able to regenerate for the second half.

Anything that didn't die immediately got sent to the apothecary for the remainder of the game except for those Vamps. You can knock them down, beat them up, even kill those blood suckers and they keep coming back.

The streak has begun, lets put another one in the win column.

Let the Royals welcome our new corpse for the Meat Shield; Kris P. Bacon.. number 1 favourite in your breakfast but number 8 on your programs... Bacon-8-er!!!!

Time to shine!!!
Well, we made it this far. We barely made it into the top 8 teams but now we near the top spot.

Facing off against our fellow undead in the opening match was met bone on rotting flesh but only the opening half was the speed bump... after that, the Khemri fell to pieces. Already down a mummy, it didn't take long for the rest to follow suit.

Soon we face off against one of our biggest rivals this season. The beat the wolves into the dirt in the early season. Then, we took our revenge in the late season in a landslide game. Its only right we face off again in the playoffs to see how is coming out on top.

If the Royals survive to carry on, we'll get to take our revenge on our first loss of the season against the Unnatural's

May your fangs be sharp and your golems always stand firm!

Unexpected late season start
With the late season well under way, the Royals have to pick up the pace and get those games in. All challengers welcome.

So, lets shake off that grave dirt and sharpen those claws.. time to race for the top 6.

Bit of a slow start with a loss to the elves. Many cases it could have gone either way but a couple of lucky leaps into the cage derailed the game at key points.

Things picked up a bit against the Norse, but all the soft hits dealt out that game, we still came away with a crumple wight. It was a victory but Overlord may not see previous glories.

Most unexpected was a victory of the Orcs. Royals received that kick and started off strong. Opening the first half, two orcs off the pitch and from there, the numbers were forever in our favour. Two scores and the newest addition made one of them.

Looking forward, future is getting brighter.. its been a long crawl from the grave... now its a full on shamble to the finish!!

Battle of the Greenskins
To be honest, comparing the green skins of the Orc's to the rotting flesh of zombies and whatever was used to build the Fleshies is a like saying an apple is an orange.. but I couldn't think of a headline.

This was a brutal match for sure, many a hit was thrown on the pitch this day. There was a lot of turns where only about half the players the field were actually standing. Both sides on the giving and receiving end, but not a lot of casualties dealt out this time around.

From start to finish, it was a rushing game. Not throwing around the ball for these teams.. really just lucky anyone was holding onto the ball this one. Were's did a bit of surfing early, sending a black orc to the whims of the crowd. A couple times during the game, the zombies tried a bit of sprinting which ended with their rotting bodies, hugging the pitch. Luckily, their durability held up. No matter how many times they got hit, fouled or hurt... they always come back for more.

Were's for the win in this one again. The frenzy even taking over while carrying the ball, still not to busy to send a couple guys off the pitch while blitzing.

Might be time to pick up a Ghoul or dig one up, could use a bit more speed.
